Google Nest Hub stuck on Almost Done screen

My Hub is stuck on Almost Done screen. I've tried everything on previous threads but I couldn't comment in the thread due to it being closed. Things I've tried: resetting internet, resetting Hub, factory resetting Hub, putting it in recovery mode and resetting the Hub, Nothing seems to work. Please advise.

Hi fjames312,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I am sorry that you are experiencing issues with your Google Nest Hub. But no need to worry, help is here.

Before we go further, let me ask you some important questions:

  1. When did you first notice the (stuck in “Almost Done”) issue?
  2. Did you unplug the device before you noticed the issue?
  3. Was there a power outage shortly before you discovered the issue?

As the last resort please make sure if the reset was completed as instructed based on the how to Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays guide.

If it was already followed as instructed and the device is still stuck, to assist you better, we'll need some additional information. I'm sending you this form where you can provide all the necessary details and also please fill out all the information required.

Once you've completed the form, please let me know. This will allow us to investigate the issue further and find a solution.

Best,

Mario
