Can I use the Google Nest hub to remotely lock and unlock a Kwikset 916 SmartCode deadbolt?

The instructions you provided show how to connect the Google Assistant with a Kwikset lock using Halo technology. My Kwikset SmartCode 916 lock uses Z-Wave technology.  Not sure if these instructions will work.  I'll let you know once I try.
