I have reported an issue where Google Home devices suddenly cannot find or control Nest devices, such as thermostats, despite both being linked to the same Google account and appearing in the Google Home app under the same home. Previously, the integration worked seamlessly, with no changes made to the Google Home or Nest devices, network settings, or account configurations. When users attempt to issue voice commands (e.g., to turn on or off a Nest thermostat), Google Assistant responds that it cannot find the device, even though the devices are visible and appear connected in the app.
Ignore the ios selection above. I did not have choice to skip the platform. Problem is google home does not detect the nest thermostats in its account and cannot reply to voice commands. Example: hey google turn on nest or turn on living room nest. It cannot find the nest devices to operate on. However they are successful added and visible in the google home app under same home.

Hi @sushantk,
Thanks for reaching out here in the community! I understand that Google Home devices are suddenly unable to control Nest devices, particularly Nest thermostats. Even though these devices are on the same account and visible in the Home app, Google Assistant says it can't find them when you try to trigger the command to turn on the thermostat. I'd be happy to help with this!
I appreciate you taking the time to report this situation. To better investigate and provide you with accurate steps, I’d like to ask for the following information:
Please keep me posted.

Thanks for your reply.
For troubleshooting I have reset the nest devices (2 of them) and added them back to the account. Tried changing the names of the nest devices but it did not work.
