Google mini speaker wrong language and not announcing visitors (doorcam chime)

My google mini speaker has been bought to function as a doorbell chime to complement the google home doorcam. There are two problems:

1) google hub announces visitors but the mini doesn't .

2) mini is talking Spanish while Spanish is not enabled (must bu dutch)

Mini and doorcams are reset. Connected to one google account. Google assustent is having only dutch configured.

Still the mini is reporting issues in Spanish and not announcing visitors. Who can help out???

  • Google mini Gen 2 was reset (Mic switched off, press and hold front button).
  • After reset it started talking spanish again
  • Mini gen2 speaker was after some time found in Google home app and added to my home.
  • Wifi connection was OK. I was able to mirror audio from my Android phone to the speaker.
  • Google doorcam notifications are still not audible on the mini Gen2
  • When giving a command via "Hey Google" it is mentioning that some problem is present. See message below in spanish and English (via Google translate).
    • Se ha verificado un problema, ha habido un error si la situación en un cambio atraco al que minuto fue y probaré a resolver el problema en Elm fue ya que por varias colegas en dispositivo.
    • A problem has been verified, there has been an error if the situation in a robbery change at what minute it was and I will try to solve the problem in Elm since it was by several colleagues on the device.
  • Visitor announcements from the Google Hub are in Dutch as expected. Also phone notifications are in Dutch.
  • Under google account > Settings > Personal preferences > Generic Internet preferences > Language is also set to Dutch.

Speaker was working for a while (despite it was sometime reporting disconnections despite a strong WiFi network) but never in Spanish.
