Google randomly added Nest Thermostat and settings to Good Morning Routine

This falls under the WTF Google category. I have been using the same Google "Good Morning" routine for several years now. As of yesterday, Google randomly added my Nest Thermostat to that routine, without my permission. This addition sets the Thermostat at a much higher temperature than I would ever have for a heat pump. This change actually cost a lot of  money as the electric coils kick on for the 10 degree upward adjustment. Google really needs to get their act together. Your customer's are not your Alpha / Beta testers. Something like this should NEVER happen - EVER. Google should never be adding things to any of our routines. I have completely lost faith in Google's participation in home automation.

Hello Richard_,

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with the Home and Away Routines. Let's sort this out.

A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? Did you share access to your home members? Also, is there a temperature schedule created that might trigger the Routines?

Regards,

Mark
