I just changed my wifi password for security reasons. It has disconnected me from my security system and I can't figure out how to access my cameras or connect them to the wifi

Generally, it is not easy to update Wi-Fi settings for Google Nest cameras and doorbells, which is why Google Nest recommends setting your network name (SSID) and password on your new modem/router to the same values used on the old modem/router.

If you can't do that, then the general process is to remove the devices from the Google Nest app or Google Home app while you are still on your old Wi-Fi network, then do a factory reset of all devices, and then reinstall them while on your new Wi-Fi network.

Accurate but hilarious and thankfully Google isn't in the business of "Express Oil Changes" otherwise, we'd need to have the main bearings and piston rings replaced in order to change the oil and filter. The steps are excruciating and made worse by the Home App (should never have been released to the public). Just my $0.02.

Hi everybody,

@Achavarin99, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. We would recommend you to remove your Nest Camera from your app then reset it to the factory default and re-add it to your app. Let us know how it goes.

I appreciate your response, MplsCustomer and Bill_B.

Best,

Emerson
