this morning I spent a couple hours trying to resolve, which should have been a very easy issue. I have over a dozen indoor and outdoor google/best batterycameras. One of my cameras that is still under warranty has a missing magnetic base. One of my cameras that is still under warranty has a missing, magnetic base. I spoke with two representatives this evening, who both told me there are no parts available, and then proceeded to tell me to go to the Google store and purchase the part. I indicated there is no part in the store, where I was told correct and then referred back to the store all over again. I am trying to make a claim on a product that is under warranty. It is unacceptable that the indoor bass is produced but not the outdoor. One would think that Google nest would be supportive of business owners, who have invested heavily in their product. one would think that Google nest would be supportive of business owners who have invested heavily in their product only to be it should not be this difficult to obtain a replacement part for a camera that cost $176 last July. The factory part is what fits the proper skins used for my business cameras. The factory part is what fits the proper skins used for my business cameras. Is this really as I told the representatives, if I would have lied about never receiving the base, I would have been better off, but that is not who I am. I told the supervisor I wanted to make a claim on the entire camera, and was told they could not do that either. Then, they had the nerve to again send me to the Google store to buy a replacement part, even though they knew one did not exist at the store. If anyone in leader ship from the company would like to reach out to me, I would love to have a conversation with you about, my experiences, my investment in your products, and the way I was jerked around and made to believe there was actually a replacement part that was factory when there was nothing. How hard can it be ?, my experiences, my investment in your products, and the way I was jerked around and made to believe there was actually a replacement part that was factory when there was nothing. How hard can it be

I'm just another Google Nest customer who can only sympathize with your unfortunate predicament. Unlike its competitors, Google Nest simply does not sell any spare parts.
On this post another customer found a third-party solution for the magnetic base; scroll down to the end:
