I signed up for the ADT "special" through Google and while I was told all of my devices could be used in the ADT+ app, they can't be. I have been on hold for hours, calling them back gets me put on hold for hours, no one is calling me back if I press 1 to leave my call back number etc. I am beyond frustrated and this is such a scammy practice to not let people cancel. I have called every number I can find for them to cancel and I keep getting a rep that tells me to call another number because their computer is down and they can't get into the system.

OMG this is exactly my experience. I'm so frustrated. They put me on a wild goose chase just like you. I filled a complaint with the BBB, but no clue if that helps. I just want to return my Equipment and cancel my subscription. The people on the chat are just giving me some bull**bleep** stories why they can't help me. I feel helpless at this point

Someone called me back somehow this morning. It was from tech support and they said they could help me get my Google hub connected but my wired doorbell wasn't supported. They asked if I wanted to get tech support or continue to cancel and I requested to cancel. I was on hold another 15 minutes or so until I spoke to an actual person who was very nice. She apologized for the really long wait time and said since this merger with Google their calls have been nonstop. Hopefully someone calls you back as well! I would try calling and picking a tech support option maybe and having them push you through to cancellation.
