How to reset my password of the Nest Account

FrankDesseyn

Hallo,

I do not remember my nest account password sine too long ago that I had to log in. Also, I do not receive the email that usually is sent when not remembering the password.

Can someone tell me how to reset and create a new NEST account password.

I need to log in to the nest account in order to be able to remove my indoor nest cam from this account. Otherwise I can not add this cam to my new google account.

Best regards.

Hey, Frankdesseyn.

Sorry the account issues you've been facing. I'm sure that's quite frustrating. Let's look at this and see what's happening here.

We do have a help article that covers this, which you can see here: https://bit.ly/3m34wxl.

If you have already ran through those steps and are still seeing the same issue, please let me know.

Thanks,

- Jeff

Hi Jeff,

My apologies for not yet having replied to your feedback.
Meanwhile, the problem has been solved without the need to reset my password of my NEST account. I could connect my indoor CAM to my new google account by following
the procedure that I was sent by Divine :
Unplug the camera(s).
Wait at least 48 hours.
Before beginning the pairing process, change the Wi-Fi network SSID.
Plug the cameras back into a power outlet and connect them to the account using the new Wi-Fi network SSID.
Once they're paired, change the Wi-Fi network SSID back to the original SSID.
Use the Nest app to update the camera's Wi-Fi settings to reflect the original SSID.
Kind regards,
Frank
