Linking smartthings with nest

Yura_

I have a multiple "homes" setup on my Google assistant. Each one has a different set of cameras, locks, etc.

When I'm trying to link smartthings to Nest, it is only showing one of the "homes" and that makes integration completely useless. I've been banging my head around it for hours and still lo luck.

I've tried to unlink accounts from both ends - that is not solving a problem as well

Any ideas how to link (select) a specific home from nest in order to link it to a specific location on smartthings?

Thanks!

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. Once your Nest Account is migrated to a Google Account, Works with Hey Google routines can be created from the Google Home or Assistant apps with other smart home partner products you already own. You can check this article on how to Learn about Works with Nest.

Steve

This is not really the solution. And the problem most likely is not on the Google's end.

Issue is:

  • In Google home you have two houses A &B
  • In smartthings you are adding a new Nest device
  • Smartthings will auth to nest.

Expected:

  • User should be able to select between locations A or B
