I have a closet light I always forget to turn off after use. I would like to use Home to turn it off after 5 minutes of use. How do I make turning the light on the starter action. There are only four options; a speech command, at a specific time, at sun rise or set, and when an alarm is dismissed. I want google home to just turn the closet light off 5 minutes after I turn it on. My only other option is to install one of those older light switches with a dial on it that tickets down like a cooking timer. Am I asking for a feature that is not available?

Thank you for the reply. Setting an off timer to a wifi switch is definitely something I would like to added to Google home. Maybe in the future.

Hi bhainke,
That's certainly a very helpful feature.
While automatically turning off lights after minutes of use isn't supported, you can schedule a Routine for when you need it. Check this article for more information.
