Multiple issues with Personal Routines on Google Home and assistant!

So, I am having issues with personal Routines either via google home app or google assistance app.  I want to delete an action, but the action cannot be selected to delete it.  In addition, the "device that started the routine" options are greyed out.  I have searched the Help Documentation and community forums and cannot find a resolution let alone an exact match to my issue.

Is there a way to reset google assistant or just the built in personal routines?  I have reset google home, but it seems the personal routines are in google assistant and is just carried into the home app.

Hi eyarea51,

Thanks for reaching out and for providing detailed information on your issue and the steps that you've done — these are of great help!

What is the make and model of the phone that you are using? You can delete the cache and data of  both apps then observe if this will make any changes. Uninstalling and reinstalling might help too. If this didn't work try to use another phone.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,

Juni

Side note- unable to select proper labels for issue as there are limited label selections.

I have already re-did my home app but haven't found a good way to redo the Google Assistant app it just brings down whatever is from the cloud and the cloud is where the problem seems to be.  It doesn't matter what device I use whether I use my tablet or my phone both Samsung.  I cannot remove an item from my bedtime personal routine.  And I cannot select anything when it comes to the device that started the routine. In addition I don't know if this is related but as I move around my house and give commands to the Google devices that I have which I have the hub speaker a Sony speaker and the original home device, The speaker that I would expect to respond would not respond. I can be standing in front of the one Google speaker in my bedroom give it the bedtime routine and my speaker in my kitchen which is around corners would respond. Also in addition the voice that I have selected seems to change between the one that I want and back to the original that everything uses and then back again to the voice that I have selected.

Don't know if those last two items are a part of the problem or a response to the problem but nonetheless I cannot remove an item from my personal routine nor change the device that started to routine options.
