Music won't transfer between speakers

Hi,

 

I don't know if I'm asking at the right place, but I changed internet modem and had to factory reset my Google Home speaker as well as my Google Nest mini (gen2), delete them from the Google Home app and connect them again. Since then, when I try to transfer music from the Home to the Nest by saying "Hey Google, transfer music to office speaker please" it gives me the error "Sorry, Office speaker does not support this feature". It worked fine yesterday before the modem change and subsequent factory reset & reconnection to the app. On the other hand, when I try to transfer the music from the Nest to the Home, it says "Alright, I'll play it on Bathroom Speaker" and the music is not transferred, still playing on the same speaker. It works when I do it manually on the app.

 

Can someone please help me make the transfer music vocal command work please? I tried looking but didn't find anything conclusive.

Hey Tavari_luhta,

 

Thanks for reaching out and let's check what's going on with your devices.

 

Make sure your devices are connected to the same network and within 15-20 feet of your router. Your devices should be set up on the same home structure. The language set on your phone and Google Home app is set to EN-US. Since you just reset your devices, try rebooting your router and speakers to refresh the connection. Check this guide for more information.
