My Chromecast is in infinite loop, how to recover?

One day my Chromecast started restarting non-stop. I can't get into configuration mode. I already tried to reset the button and it didn't work. can you help me with this issue?

A few questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? When did the issue start? What's the LED status on your Chromecast? Does it reboot when watching a video or even when it is in idle mode?

Give these steps a try:

1. Make sure the Chromecast is plugged in directly into a power outlet (not a surge protector).
2. Check if the power adapter isn't damaged.
3. Try plugging the Chromecast into a different power outlet.
4. Try plugging it in on a different HDMI port on your TV.
5. Try plugging it in on a different TV screen if one is available.
