Hi Guys
I have a nest 3rd gen installed controlling my hot water and heating. It has been working fine since we moved in 2 years ago.
However now , when using the thermostat to call for heating , it fires up our boiler as usual but the heat link doesn't appear to operate the central heating relay unless pressed into manual mode? This causes it boiler to go into over temp and shut down.
Everything used to work, I've double checked the wiring. It's just odd that the relays don't activate unless pressed into manual. Then it's absolutely fine.

hi there and thanks for reaching our Community. I'm sorry to hear about your issue, but we'll get to the bottom of it. I'll need to document the issue a bit, so please answer the following questions:
1. What type of boiler do you have? Is it a system or a combi boiler?
2. By any chance, can you active the hot water separately from the thermostat or the app?

1. I have a biomass boiler , it's a single activation on heating or hot water , there are 2 valves on the hot water tank that operate each loop.
2. Yes I can select either hot water or heating. Each section valve is wired to the corresponding input on the heat link.
It has worked perfectly up until recently.
