By far worst decision to have purchased this Nest Yale X Lock.
Since day 1 it has not been able to connect yet I have Nest Protect and Nest Ring. Both have worked well. Along with 15 other google devices.
Spoke with Google support and was advised to do the following...
1. Remove all Nest devices and re connect them all (1 hour) did not work
2. Then was told to remove all devices Bluetooth was connected too... (30 minutes) No change
3. Was told to remove network hub from wall multiple times and re connect it. (30 minutes) Nothing happened.
4. Then asked to remove battery cover which is a process requiring tools. (45 minutes) Then remove batteries. And guess what no change...
5. Then was asked to totally disconnect thw whole Nest Lock X Yale and unscrew another cover for a rest button. While the agent did not understand it is glued to door and will damage a $5000 door as it never really fit properly.
And given I could not do this her response was well nothing we can do..
$300 wasted.... Will be removing it and replacing all google devices with Alexa.
Horrible experience.
