Nest aware recording issue

My nest doorbell will send me notifications sometimes that a person was seen when I click on the notification it will say no event recorded. This doesn't happen all the time but it has happened  a few times. Why does this happen and how do I fix it?

Hey miac,

 

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. What phone are you using (Android, iOS)? Are you connected to your Wi-Fi network or mobile data? If Wi-Fi network, how far are you from your Wi-Fi router? Try clearing the cache of your Google Home app, then reboot your phone to see if that helps. Also, reinstalling the app might do the trick.
