Nest hub max. One photo only. Static image. No slideshow please. Just one background

Is there not a way to only display one image? My brother is a painter and uses reference images. How do you only display one photo at a time and keep just that photo up for longer than 10 minutes. Can you cast just one image? Or an album with just one image. It seems dumb to have to make a favorites album or something with the same image multiple times if that's even possible. (Note I don't own the device yet but I was going to get one for myself and let him use it for this as well. I've been searching and searching and I can only find people complaining about missing photos. I specifically want to display one photo at a time and keep it up static for as long as he needs. As the background or as a casted image or as a single image photo album but that last option when I search I find people saying it doesn't work and Google just cycles its own photos in and keeps it in slideshow mode. Like I guess if it even lets you maybe I could create an album with the same photo multiple times but I see people implying that this doesn't work either. I was interested in this device but if it doesn't work for him we'll likely have to buy a tablet too and I just may not get the hub. I was looking for an alternative to the tablet purchase and I have a pixel fan code for $100 off so I figured the hub would work fine for his needs and I'd get all the hub features. All he wants to do is display a single photo while he paints and use some YouTube video tutorials. Is this possible? Also can you skip photos or go back and forth manually? Can this be done hands free (cuz paints..) via voice or gestures. Googling makes it seem like no matter what it will be a slide show and it may not even show the photos you want? Being Google that seems ridiculous. It seems like they'd easily be able to add these features. Maybe it is possible. Maybe I just can't find anyone saying it online or showing it. The results are all about missing photos instead.

Hi Tonybologna,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

I totally understand that this is a good feature to use with your Nest Hub Max, but this isn’t available. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it, here's how.

Let us know if you have other questions and concerns otherwise, we will be locking this thread after 24 hours.

Regards,
