Nest hub max has no camera preview on Home control page - camera tiles.

Hi

I have set up a Nest hub max and a Nest indoor wired cam. I can see a preview and stream both camera feeds to my phone using the Google Home app. But when I open the home control page on the Nest hub and select the camera tile it opens a camera page showing both cameras with no preview pictures. When I click on a camera tile it opens the camera in full screen with a message "Nest cam monitoring off".  When I close the full screen view the Nest hub returns to the camera page with a message "Nest cam monitoring" but still no preview picture in the camera tiles. How can I enable the camera previews on the Nest hub max?

There are no camera previews in the camera tiles on the Nest Hub or Nest Hub Max. That's just the way they designed it. The tiles are always blank, even though it looks like something should display there. (And in the last few weeks an exclamation point is displayed in each tile for our older cameras; this seems to be a Google Nest server error, as the Nest Hub and cameras are otherwise working fine.)

Thanks for your reply. I did notice that when I closed the full screen camera and returned to the camera page that the camera tile would have the live icon in the top left hand corner and connecting message. Hopefully this feature will be fixed in the future.

@Dave0007, we appreciate your interest however, we don't have any news to share about a camera preview on the home control page for Google Nest Hub Max. Streaming can only be viewed one at a time. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback.
