When trying to add a new Google Nest Thermostat with Google Home App on Android (Samsung Galaxy S10e), Google Home gets stuck after
I select "No" for "Do you have a Nest Account" and click "I Agree" on the screen "Supplemental Nest terms" screen, I get an error message "Request contains an invalid argument" and screen gets stuck at the following page
"Supplemental Nest terms"
I tried back and forth with different options but it does not go past this screen.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Using the same steps as you, I have a similar "Request failed" popup with the details "Your request could not be completed" on iPhone. Did you find a work-around?

Yes. The issue is related to Google account used for Google Home App. If it is a G Suite Account, then Google will not let you add Nest Thermostat (and possibly other devices in the future), so you would have to switch to a regular Gmail account in your Google Home. There are a lots of people upset about this (see this thread https://www.theregister.com/2019/09/20/nest_cant_use_g_suite_emails/) but it seems Google is not going to fix this issue. Your best bet is to log in using a non G Suite Account in your Google Home App. It worked for me once I switched to a regular Gmail account.
