Will this unit also trigger the original door chime? This information is not given anywhere. Also, a wiring diagram would be invaluable and answer most questions. Some of us know what we are doing!
If it doesn't trigger the existing chime, it will be returned. I shouldn't have to ask this to be honest.

Our Google Nest Hello Doorbells trigger our original mechanical chime.
Your doorbell's transformer needs to meet the requirements described here:

This thread in this community has a wiring diagram for wiring the Chime Connector for one doorbell and one chime. If you search this forum, you can find diagrams for other scenarios:
