Newer items are not registered in linking between TUYA smartlife and Google Home

Hi all,

I have a new product where my ZigBee switches are able to switch between normal light switches and scene in smartlife.  It appears that I only have one gang instead of multiple gang in Google home. 

 

How should I go about to get this fixed?

Hi Cusnik,

 

Thanks for posting. I understand that you are experiencing some problems with your ZigBee switches that are not being recognized on the Google Home app and just appear on the manufacturer's app. Don't worry; help is here.

The recommendation would be to delete and re-add your devices to the Google Home app. Here's how:

  1. Delete the TUYA smartlife devices from the Google Home app.

  2. Set up your smart home devices by following the steps provided by the device maker (TUYA smartlife).

  3. Connect smart home devices in the Google Home app:

  4. Open the Google Home app.

  5. Tap Devices > Add > Works with Google Home.

  6. Select the device maker from the list.

  7. To complete the setup, follow the in-app steps.

If after completing these steps the issue persists, I kindly suggest you contact the manufacturer to check if there is any problem on the devices by their end.
