OB thermostat wire

Andrew01
Community Member

My previous thermostat did not have an O/B wire, so I don’t have anything connected in that slot for my new Nest. My heat pump is blowing cold when it should be blowing heat. From reading online, it looks like I need to go to settings and go to the thermostat and change from O over to B. However, I can’t find this option on my first Gen Nest. Does anyone know how to do that?

Thanks for checking. I’m thinking it isn’t compatible with my system. I couldn’t figure it out.
