Dear Google Support Team,

I am writing to kindly ask whether there have been any changes or progress regarding the issues I raised in my previous messages concerning Google Nest devices in Poland.

So far, I have highlighted three key concerns:

1. Lack of Polish language support for Google Nest devices, which significantly limits accessibility for elderly users and children who do not speak English.
2. Inability to purchase a Nest Aware subscription in Poland, despite owning compatible devices — which restricts their functionality and value.
3. General localization limitations, which prevent users in Poland from accessing the full range of services available in other countries.

Poland, with its large population and growing interest in smart home technology, deserves full language support and access to essential services like Nest Aware. Expanding these features to the Polish market would benefit users and likely encourage broader adoption of the Google Nest ecosystem.

I would greatly appreciate any information regarding planned actions or a possible timeline for resolving these issues.

Sincerely,
Paweł

Do you know if there are the same restrictions for Alexa enabled devices in Poland?

Did a deep dive with Gemini AI and the answer was not really helpful. See the response below.

Response

There is no official information from Google regarding plans to make Nest Aware available in Poland
. While user demand is high, the company has only acknowledged feedback without committing to a timeline.

Hi there!

Thank you for reaching out to our community.  I appreciate your interest in the Google Nest ecosystem in Poland. I appreciate you taking the time to clearly outline your three key concerns: Polish language support, Nest Aware subscription availability, and general localization issues.

While I don't have a specific timeline or immediate launch date to share for the features you mentioned, I can assure you that Google is aware of the demand for expanded localization, including for the Polish market. Our goal is to bring the full functionality of our services to as many users as possible globally.

Please consider sharing your thoughts directly with our development team through this feedback form. Your input will help us prioritize features and ensure that we're meeting the needs of our diverse user base.

Feel free to keep us posted if you have more questions.

Best regards,

Virna

Dear Virna,

Thank you for your reply and for acknowledging the issues I raised. I appreciate your courteous tone and the encouragement to share feedback via the form — which I have already done multiple times.

However, I must express that this situation has persisted for far too long. The lack of Polish language support and the unavailability of Nest Aware in Poland are not new concerns. These limitations have been affecting users for years, and despite repeated feedback from the community, there has been no visible progress or clear communication about future plans.

As a loyal customer who invested in the Google Nest ecosystem based on its advertised capabilities, I find it increasingly difficult to justify continued use when essential features remain inaccessible due to geographic restrictions. It feels as though users in Poland are consistently overlooked, despite the country’s size and growing interest in smart home technology.

I understand that product development takes time, but the absence of even a tentative roadmap or commitment to resolving these issues suggests that they are not being prioritized. I urge Google to reconsider this stance and to treat localization — including language support and service availability — as a matter of accessibility and fairness, not just market strategy.

Thank you again for your time. I remain hopeful that these concerns will be addressed with the seriousness they deserve.

Kind regards,
Paweł
