Routine to stop a routine

I know most will ask "why?"

Others will say, "just stop the routine in the home app or disable and save."

Others will try to talk me out of the meaning of this, but that's okay. I'll save the time and communicate I am committed to making a routine like this wether people think it's logical or not.

I currently run a voice commanded routine through my Google home mini that cycles a device to turn on and off in 15 minute intervals for a few hours. There may be times where I want to stop this routine by voice command. My attempts to run another voice command routine to "stop [insert other routine title]" or "cancel [insert other routine title] under the actions area labeled "try adding your own (experiment with custom actions" have failed to stop the routine.  Of course I can tell google to turn off the device (and it does), however the routine continues to run and will turn the device back on in its scheduled 15 minute routine when I don't want it to. Just wondering if the ability is there to do such a thing. Maybe a way to hit that "stop routine" option by voice command running another routine.

My objective is to stop this routine when I want by voice, but I want to be able to run it again by voice without going through the hassle of manually stopping the routine on my android.

Hi Winters692pr7,

This is not currently possible but Google have announced that they will be adding more advanced automations early next year.
