Routines in Nest Hub 2Gen do not work properly.

I create a routine to be trigger by an alarm in my Nest Hub. The routine includes the weather, check my calendar, check traffic and, to test if everthing works fine, to tell a joke at the end.

Nest Hub is connected to my calendar and if I ask it for my schedule the Nest Hub responds as expected.

If I trigger the routine in my phone it works fine (every element is notify). 

If I trigger the routine with my Google Home app from my phone to the Nest Hub it works fine again.

But If I configure the routine to be triggered by an alarm of the Nest Hub it only says the weather and the joke at the end. It skips everything calendar or personal related.

Am I missing anything in the configuration of my device or Google Home?

 This is not the experience we want you to have; let me help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? Is it a Nest Hub or a Nest Hub (2nd Gen)? Was it working before? Were there any recent changes? 

 

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 

 

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

 

Also, you can send a screenshot of the ruotine that you created for us to replicate on our end. Here's how:

 

  1. Hit reply.
  2. Click Insert Image.
  3. Choose an image source location.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions
  5. Also, you can tap the "Drag and Drop" option. Maximum attachment is 5 MB.

 

By the way, kindly remove or cover any personal and sensitive information that might be part of the screenshot.

Apologies, I could not answer before.

I'm using the Nest Hub (2nd Gen).

I tryed restarting the nest hub and my phone but any of then works.

Hey CaptainMiller, 

Make sure that Personal Results is turned on for your Google Nest Hub (2nd gen). If it's already enabled, try to disable it for a minute before enabling it again. Reboot the display afterwards before triggering your scheduled routine. Check out this link for more information.
