SOLUTION for 'Delete Google Assistant on Samsung TV' post

Well I found a solution that seems to have removed the Google assistant on Samsung TV entity in my Google Home app... Just didn't seem to respond fast enough before the post about the other post being locked was locked so I had to create another post here so ll try to finish before it's locked...🤯

SOLUTION that worked for me was to press the 'Google Assistant on Samsung TV' to bring up an option to move to another home,

Creating a 2nd home as a temporary home to move it into and save the New home with the Samsung TV Assistant in it.

Go to the list showing the homes and bring up the page setup details of the Temporary home then select the Delete home at the bottom of the page  deleting the newly created temporary home.

That removes all devices and accounts logged into and connected to the temporary home, which in this case was my Google assistant on Samsung TV entity which was unresponsive.

Hope this helps you @kingjohn or anyone else with the same issue @Azarco

Hi @kingjohn , yes I remember your original question. This is a way to remove the old TV device from the Google home app by moving the old device to a newly created home in the app and deleting the new home in the app which also deletes the old Samsung device.

Sadly the tv was sent back, so unable to do anything like that. That was a Samsung tv, i now have a Panasonic tv that linked and is working great. But home app stuck with that old tv device.

Thanks it might have worked too
