Safety / security issues if Google Home executes a command that it thinks it heard but wasn't given

What is the best way to block out an action that you would not want it to do? Like "Turn off the AC", or "Set the AC to 120 degrees". Google Home has done that and that is the reason I will never have a lock, garage door or cooking device that opens, locks or heats with an assistant. Maybe be able to choose a 2nd level confirmation for certain devices for protection.

Like, "Hey Google, turn off the AC".

Googles response, "Are you sure you want me to do that?"

requester response, "Yes"

Is there any other way right now to do that?

No, there is currently no feature or setting for that. This is mostly a user to user community, therefore if this is important to you, I’d encourage you to also send this feedback directly to Google. You will not receive a response, unless Google need more details from you, however the team are still reading the feedback.
