I have several scenario's that i set up on google home that activate scene's on other services - smartlife and broadlink.
About 90% off the time when i try to activate them using my nest mini - nothing works and i get the following message:
"One or more devices are unavailble. You may want trying to set them up again."
However every single time i try to start the google home scenario using the google assistant on my phone - it works great...
I even tried giving the same command at the same exact time to both assistants (nest and phone) and the phone works while the nest gives the error...
I tried deleting the service app from google home and reconnecting - no change.
I tried reseting the nest miniitself - nothing.
I tried deleting the scene and making a new scene - nothing.
Hoping someone has a solution...
Thanks for reaching out — let's see what's going on.
A few questions: was it working before? Were there any recent changes on your network or setup? Also, are you still able to control your lights individually?
Give these steps a try:
Looking forward to your response.
There has been no change - the strange thing is that giving my nest mini commands like "turn on all the light" or "open the window curtain" work - the error only pops out when i try to launch a google home scenario which activates a scene in a third party app. (And again - only when i try to start the scenario via the nest mini. If i start it using my phone's google assistant - it works great!)
Unfunfortunately those steps haven't helped..
Again - the issue is that when i try to start a scene from a third party app through a google home scenario - the error happens...
No - reseting the nest mini didn't help,
- deleting and writing a new scenario on google home.
- deleting and writing new scenes on smartlife.
- disconnecting google home from third party apps and reconnecting it.
However when trying to control a third party product by using it's command ("turn on light X" "open the curtains") there are no issues..
Only when trying to start a third party scene through a google home scenario does the issue arise...
Apologize for the late response. Could you give these steps a try:
1. Go to https://bit.ly/2LW1PQ8
2. Sign in the email linked to your Google Home.
3. Look for Other Google Activity > Google Assistant routines.
4. Delete all your Routines.
Once done, try creating a new Routine and let us know how it goes.
