It sounds like your Nest Hub is having trouble fully integrating the Aqara temperature sensors visually, even though Google Assistant can access the data by voice. This usually happens when a third-party sensor isn’t fully recognized for display on the Nest Hub screen.
A few things you could try:
Check device naming – Make sure the sensors have simple, unique names in the Google Home app. Sometimes long or unusual names cause display issues.
Reassign rooms – Remove the sensor from its current room and re-add it to the correct room in Google Home.
Force sync – In the Google Home app, remove the sensor and re-add it, or use the “Sync devices” option in the Assistant settings.
Firmware & app updates – Ensure both your Nest Hub and the Aqara sensors have the latest updates.
If none of these work, it may be a limitation in how Nest Hub handles third-party temperature sensors visually. Voice queries work because the Assistant pulls the data directly, but the screen may not support rendering it from these devices yet.
Some users have reported that renaming the sensor to something very short (like “Living Temp”) sometimes makes the ring display correctly.
