Does anyone have an idea how to create an automation with Google Home that turns off the lights when you start charging your phone with a wireless charger? Is there a smart plug that can send information to Google Home about a change in power consumption (charging/not charging)? I managed to create something similar using the Google Home Script Editor and a smart plug, but it only works when I manually turn the plug on and off, so it doesn't make sense—it's not automatic, and you have to press the switch.

Yes, I mean the NFC stickers tags, Place it on the surface of the wireless charger, so when you place your phone to charge it, it will read the sticker tag and charge at the same time
hope it works

Why not try a work around and use NFC tag to do that ?

Do you mean placing the NFC tag under the charger? Hmm, that might be the simplest and best solution 🙂
