Good Evening,
im based in South Africa and I bought the Xiaomi Mi Smart LED light bulbs to set up with my google nest. I succeeded it setting uo everything on the Xiaomi app. However when I link my google home app to the Xiaomi Home app (where the lightbulbs work) it says Account linked, and yet i cannot see the lightbulbs anywhere on my google home app. can someone please help me if possible? This is very frustrating 🙂

@Seb3 I wish to help you my friend, but in today's are, we don't really experience problems with the text, So if your having problems maybe it's a defective instrument of maybe there is a mistake being made. Who else have you made contact with and what all have you already done to resolve the issues my friend? I'll do my best to assist in the resolution of the issue being experienced? And if I understand you need to be able to turn your light on and off with your phone right?

Hi Brandon!! Thanks a million for responding!! Incan turn the lights on and off on the xiaomi mi home app. The issue is when i link the mi home app with my google home app. It says Mi home linked, however the lightbulbs dont appear anywhere on my google home app. I wanted to be able to integrate the bulbs to my google nest hub

best of luck out there my friend, I sure wish I could help more. There is no need to attempt to diagnose an issue that I know nothing about. I hope all goes well for you , and it's possible that there may be a defect or something. take care out there.

@Seb3, Since Nest Hub isn't officially supported in your country, the light feature may or may not work. We're working hard on bringing Google Home and more of its features to other countries. You can try setting up the device under the English US and see if that would work. Keep me posted.

I guess something like that is possible, but I thought since it's tech and all that good stuff that it all would be perfect, and no matter what country therein, they should see the same icons and options when dealing with the software interface I believe. I wish you the best out there! I thought for sure in south africa they would have had those simple tech issues resolved in some parts of the country. awesome thank you for your support out here. I do have one question for you! where do you get your nest information and information about the equipment provided?
