frozen Nest thermostat

my nest thermostat is frozen on " continue set up on google home app"

I tried to press on the ring for 10 seconds to unfreeze it as suggested but at no avail

Hello nest406,

 

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. Let's sort this out.

It appears that you have the Nest Thermostat 2020 model. This version doesn't have a touch screen or a button to select. Use the touch bar on the right side to control it. Swipe up to raise it, swipe down to lower it, and tap to confirm.

Also, you must add it first in the Google Home app to configure your system and complete the setup. Also, please have a look at this article and let us know if you need more help.
