I cannot get recordings on my desktop for my camera, use to be able to go back and look at recordings and live video. It only works on my apple phone.

That seems odd, since both the Google Nest app and the home.nest.com website access the same data. What happens on the home.nest.com website when you scroll to the left on the timeline or click on the calendar icon in the lower left corner?
