Disconnected Nest thermostat account and resetting it remotely

We have moved to a new home and left our NEST thermostat for the new owner. We did not disconnect our account before leaving, but need to do so now remotely. However when I go into the NEST account it logs in via my google account and there is no way to reset our disconnect through account management. How can I do this?
