Factory reset for W4Z9

How do I reset,it's stuck on my buddies old wi-fi 

Listen is there anybody out there that can help me factory reset this device I've had it for over a year now and I want to throw it away but I keep on wanting to try to reset it I'm just stuck.

On the back of Nest Hub, press and hold both volume buttons together for about ten seconds. Your Nest Hub will let you know that it's resetting.
