Familiar face recognition on next aware

Hi all.  And pixel 7

Have a nest wired for doorbell with nest aware subscription. Everything works except familiar face feature. 

I have followed all instruction available form Google, as well as those suggested in blogs etc. 

I get back message about a nest aware subscription required. 

What could be the issue?

I understand you're having difficulties setting up Familiar Face Detection on your Nest Doorbell because you're receiving an error message indicating that Nest Aware is required, even though you already have a subscription. No worries, let's work together to figure out why you're getting this error message.

If you have multiple home structures in your account, it's important to ensure your Nest Aware subscription is applied to the correct home where your Nest Doorbell is located. To check it, please follow these steps:

  • Go to the Google Store on your browser.
  • Make sure you're signed in with the Google account that you use for your Nest Aware subscription and your Nest Doorbell.
  • Tap your profile icon, then select "Subscriptions."
  • You should see your Nest Aware subscription listed there with its details and the home it's currently applied to. Please verify that it's applied to the correct home where your Nest Doorbell is installed.

I verified being subscribed to NA to the correct doorbell on the correct home, under the same account.
