Home account showing in google home but not nest aware

I have had Nest Aware since before Google acquired Nest. I was having issues with a family member in another household receiving my login authentication. They were in possession of my older iPad, which had previously been factory reset and had their own account added to it. I went into Google Devices and removed that iPad from my account. Since doing that, I can no longer access my cameras, thermostat, or smoke detectors. I can see the home name on Google Home but not on the Nest app. although the devices are not on either app. I have tried to re-add the same home to Nest, but it just keeps going in circles and won't add the account. How does removing an old iPad from my Google account remove all of my Nest products and how do I get all back?

Google acquired Nest in 2014, so you've been a customer a very long time, but it's hard to tell from what you'vew posted what's really going on in your case.

Perhaps you should contact Support so that you can walk through the specifics of what steps you've taken and where things are at right now:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
