Migrating Nest Aware

Hello, I apparently have a 1st generation nest account that uses my Gmail address. This account has no devices attached to it. I also have a 1st generation nest account that uses a different email.   That account has my devices and my Nest Aware attached to it. I just bought a new camera and it has to use a Google account, but I cannot migrate my account that has everything attached to a Google account because it already exists.   Help.

Thanks,  but I called support.  After an hour and a half, I ended up removing all my devices from my original account and setting everything up again with my Gmail account. Then I canceled my existing subscription,  since it was an old account that would only support one camera, and bought a new subscription. Support's only other option was to create a new Gmail account and use it.

I have a very similar problem. Trying to add a new camera to the existing Nest camera account and it just takes me in circles. Can’t move existing cameras to the “new” and add the new camera either.

I do not.  I wish my new camera could be viewed in my nest app instead of having to use the Home app, but it is what it is.

  • Open the Google Home app

Google Home app

  • At the top right, tap your account.
  • Tap Feedback 

and then

  • tap the type of device you'd like to submit feedback for.
  • To display available emails, in the "From:" section, tap the arrow on the right. Select your email address.
  • In the feedback summary, write a brief description of your issue.
  • Be sure to check the box for Screenshot and System logs.
  • To submit feedback, at the top right corner, tap Send
