Nest aware sibscribed but no functionality

I'm subscribed to nest aware but the recording of video is not functional it only shows live and still shots of activity. And only a few hours worth.

Is your Nest Aware subscription in the same Google Nest "home/structure" on the same Google Account as your cameras? In the Google Nest app, you can check your subscription by going to Settings | Nest Aware. In the Google Home app, you can check by going to Settings | Subscriptions | Nest Aware.

Do you have a Nest Aware or a Nest Aware Plus subscription?  Or the older 1st gen Nest Aware subscription?  Are your cameras in the Google Nest app or the Google Home app? When you try to view history, what exactly happens?
