After talking with support for an hour, I was told there is no way to view CVR history unless you swipe to scrub the video feed until you get to the exact time you want to view. I was also told there is no way to download the CVR footage, unless there is a recorded event. The option they recommended was to download a screen recorder app to "save" the video.
So, if I have CVR, but events turned off, the only way to save video footage is to swipe until I find the exact time and use a screen recorder.
One other issue is that the video timeline is set to the last recorded event, multiple days ago. So if I want to see what happened at 3:30 am today, I have to swipe an incredible amount to view the footage.
