PRICE INCREASE AGAIN!!!!!!

Since Google got their meathooks into Nest,  the Aware price increased several times and the quality of Nest cameras has suffered.. Half of the time, the camera's video doesn't show up until way after whatever it's spotted, has gone.  Notifications are slow.  Cameras aren't much help if problems aren't shown until after the fact.  Still can't figure out why you want $100 + dollars a year for really shoddy service.  There are far superior cameras out there with no subscription and we will be looking into replacing these Nest cameras we bought a year ago.   Google is proving every day they mess up everything they touch and I sincerely hope they come to their senses before everybody goes with another camera.

I agree... a 30% price increase is ridiculous, especially in today's uncertain economy. I suspect it's a reflection of the rampant greed of US-based companies who are taking their cues from the orange buffoon in the White House. It may seem to be only a few dollars monthly, but I doubt it would be a hardship for Google to eat that as a good will gesture to its loyal customers.

I also got a notice of an increase from €6 to €10. That's a 66% increase! Absurd! I wanted to cancel my subscription before this increase is reflected in my next bill but I see in my account that the next fee will be charged at €6 and now I don't know if it's showing the current fee or if for some reason I'm going to miss this increase? I have no idea.
In any case, if they charge €10 for this ringtone camera, for me it will already be an overkill and I will replace Google with some Chinese equivalent, because just as Google feeds off our personal data and on top of that wants us to pay them extra, the Chinese feed off our personal data but don't make us pay for it.
