Google is a global multibillion dollar institution. Yet the blogs show this has been an ongoing issue for over a year. Though I wouldn’t call this a permanent workaround, it has worked for me.
- Switch off the Nest camera button.
- Unplug Nest
- Unplug both your modem and router
- Now plug in your modem and wait for it to completely come back online
- Next, bring up your router and also wait for it to completely come back online
- Next plug in your Nest and wait for it to come back online.
- Finally switch back on your Nest camera button.
