Consider this scenario:
2 people live at my house, both have the Google Home app, with presence sensing enabled for both users. We have 2 cameras and keep them on 24/7.
Problem I'm trying to solve:
When 1 person leaves home, that person gets away notifications. I do not want to receive ANY notifications if at least 1 person is home ... is that not possible?

Yes. I would love a response. I am getting notifications when I am home now too. This changed recently but I am not sure why. I have it set to detect when people are home in the settings.

Have you tried to restart your device and check to see if your Nest Aware subscription is still active? That could be why you're seeing these changes.
Best regards,
Brad.

It stopped on its own after I restarted my phone.

If you have the same issue and question as the OP, then I am afraid this is not an option. If you are connected to the account, alerts will be present.
Best regards,
Brad.
