I bought the subscription and got 3 nest camera batteries and it says I don't have a compatible device.

It sounds like you either purchased your Nest Aware subscription from a different Google Account or for a Google Nest "home/structure" different from the one where your cameras are.

Checking in — have you checked if you’re signed into the right account and you’re on the right home structure when signing up for the Nest Aware subscription as shared by MplsCustomer? If so, how did it go? Let me know if you need more help.
