I realise this issue has probably been asked a number of times and if so, please direct me to the answer. 👉
I am a long term UK subscriber to Google Nest Aware Basic. (I have not yet migrated my Nest account to Google Home. I mention this in case it may be relevant). I use a standard @Gmail.com email for this subscription. (I am not a Workspace subscriber). My current annual subscription runs out on 13th December 2025.
I have just started subscribing to a Google One account that includes the Nest Aware subscription. However, I am subscribed to this account using a different @Gmail.com email account.
My question are:
1. Should I now cancel my Google Nest Aware Basic account to ensure that it does not renew in December?
2. How do I go about associating my current Google Nest Aware Basic account settings to the Google One version of the account?
3. Will I receive a refund on the remaining months of my current Google Nest Aware Basic subscription?

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand you have a standard Gmail account with a Nest Aware subscription and that you haven't migrated your Nest account to Google yet. You also have a secondary account with a Google One subscription, which includes a Nest Aware subscription, and you'd like to use that for your Nest cameras. However, you are unsure if you need to cancel the subscription on your primary account and if you will receive a refund for the remaining months. I'm happy to assist you.
If you'd like to use your secondary account for the Nest Aware subscription, you will need to remove all the cameras from the primary account, factory reset them, create a new home in the secondary account, and then set up your cameras there.
Because of the complexity of this specific process, I recommend you to contact our Nest team through our Contact Us Page, where they can guide you through all the process, especially since they can confirm if you currently have a Nest Aware 1st gen subscription while the one included with your Google One account might be a Nest Aware 2nd gen subscription. There is also a possibility they can provide you with a prorated refund for your current subscription if you cancel it, since it ends in December.
