Unable to Cancel Nest Aware Subscription in Google Home, Google Store, or Nest App

Spacekitty
Community Member

I'm having an extremely difficult time trying to cancel my Nest Aware Subscription. I moved 2 months ago and no longer have access the Nest.  Google store has been debiting my account; however, Nest Aware is not coming up as an active subscription in my Google Home, Google Store, or the Nest app.

I'm being robbed.

Sincerely,

PO'd Spacekitty

Hi everyone,

@Spacekitty, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. How's it going? Were you able to reach our support team? To know more about this issue, I’d like to confirm, is your account migrated? Have you checked the email address signed in to your Nest app? Check if it's the same email address you're using with your Google Home app and when you check your Google Store account.

Give these steps a try if you purchased your subscription through Google Store:

  1. Go to the Google Store Subscription management page.
  2. Sign in with Google.
  3. On the “Subscriptions” page, select the subscription you’d like to cancel.
  4. On the right, select More More and then Cancel subscription.
  5. To complete the cancellation, select Cancel subscription.

Just a reminder when you already purchased a Nest Aware (2nd Gen) subscription and you cancel it, the subscription will still be there and will cover your devices for the whole month or whichever terms you selected. You’ll cancel it to avoid the auto renew process.

Looking forward to your response.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Regards,

Emerson
