I sold my house and left the Google Next devices to the new owners. And I deleted those devices from the Google Home app.
My Google Store Subscriptions page shows no more active subscription, yet I am still being charged the monthly subscription fee of $8.
The instructions found on Google Help pages do *not* work!!! They either take me back to the Subscription page which shows no active subscription or route to to Google Hardware's X and Facebook pages???

I ended up going thru Google Support via chat. They walked mw thru how to reattach the devices to Google Home app so that I can see the subscription info, but that attempt failed because the new owners already set up these Nest devices with their own Google Home. The Support agent then escalated to their senior support team to help cancel my subscription from their end. It worked!

Also worth noting that I first tried to go through Nest Support and it was horrendous! Some of their phone numbers didn’t work. The chat was with a bot that gave me silly and unhelpful advice (ex: have you tried different browsers). The chatbot eventually prompted me to contact customer support by phone but asked me to pay $1 for that (which I felt okay to do). The pop-up window to accept payment however tried to charge me for $47 instead which I almost missed; luckily for me, the attempted transaction via Apple Pay was rejected by fraud detection from Apple Pay/Credit Card company.
