What do I need to replace with my nest securiety system

Hi,

I have used the nest security system for years and have done self monitoring.  What is going to change with the dropping of next aware in April how will I be affected.

I have 3x nest cameras (not drop cams), 4x door monitors, 3x motion detectors, and a keypad to turn the alarm off.

@cjacobsenblietz

The Nest Aware subscription service is NOT being dropped in April.

What is being dropped is support for Dropcams and for the Nest Secure alarm system, which includes Nest Guards, Nest Detects, and Nest Tags. I'm not sure how it will affect you, but this is Google Nest's post on the subject:

https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Blog/An-update-for-our-Nest-Secure-Dropcam-and-Works-with-Nes...

Are you sure about the Nest Detects? Makes sense, but didn’t see Nest Detects mentioned anywhere in their official communication, unless I missed it.

@MarcF1

We don't use Nest Secure; Google Nest's page on Nest Secure (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9231739) says "The Nest Secure alarm system includes Nest Guard, Nest Detect, Nest Tag, and the Nest app."

Google Nest has this posting about Nest Detect:

Also, on the announcement link I provided above (https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Blog/An-update-for-our-Nest-Secure-Dropcam-and-Works-with-Nes...), another customer posted this:

"Update: I confirmed with ADT that the Nest Detect Sensors will not work with the new ADT hub..."
