I cannot believe this feature request has been complained about since at least April 2022 and Google has still not fixed it, considering this feature already existed within the Nest app. What was the point of Google Home app if you were just going to take away features?
I literally have a “non event” clip from tonight of 3 men breaking into a car across the street. I want to share it (timestamped) with police, and cannot. Maybe I can do a workaround by recording the recording with my camera that is listed elsewhere . But what is the point of paying Nest Aware for continuous recording to catch a crime and then not be able to easily share it with police? How many crimes are going unsolved because of this unsatisfied feature request??
